Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has prepared tenders for the introduction of 350 AC electric buses that have been approved by the Department of Heavy Industries (DHI) and government approved.
Offers were submitted for the procurement, maintenance and operation of the buses under the GCC (Gross Cost Contract) model as part of Phase II of the FAME India program.
In a statement on Thursday, the RTC Executive Director (engineering) announced that the tender documents had been submitted for judicial preview in accordance with the AP Infrastructure Act (transparency through judicial preview).
The tender documents are now in the public domain on the Judicial Preview website www.judicialpreview.ap.gov.in to invite objections / suggestions from the public and proposed bidders.
All objections or suggestions should be presented to Judge, Judicial Preview, B. Sivasankar Rao, within seven working days (by May 28th) through the Judicial Preview website only.
