Appropriation calculations passed – The Hindu

The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Thursday in the absence of TDP-MLAs boycotting the budget meeting in protest against the MDP passed the Fund Allocation Vote Act and Fund Allocation Bills (Nos 2 and 3) of 2021 2021 “unilateral and undemocratic” decisions by the Jagan Mohan Reddy government.

Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy tabled the three bills needed to meet the additional grants and spending on the consolidated sovereign wealth fund granted by the Assembly for the year.

The Assembly also passed the AP Medical Education and Research Corporation Act 2021, the AP Surveys and Boundaries Amendment Act (2021), the AP Municipal Acts Amendment Act (2021), and the AP Second Amendment Act Local laws (2021) and withdrew the AP Electricity Tax Act (2015).

The House passed resolutions against the privatization of the Visakhapatnam Steel Mill and against changing the name of Orvakal Airport in Kurnool District to “Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy Airport”.

The meeting was later interrupted by Speaker Thammineni Seetharam.
