CM starts ‘Swachh Sankalpam’ on July 8th

Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will start the Jagananna Swachh Sankalpam program on July 8th, which aims to clean up the villages, which coincides with the birthday of the former Prime Minister of the combined Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

An online training program for Sarpanches and officials in Kadapa and Chittoor districts was held on Monday.

On that occasion, Panchayat Raj and Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy, Minister for Rural Development, said that the Sarpanches had a duty to clean up the villages. People have put their faith in the Sarpanches and it is their responsibility to meet their expectations, he said.

“The Sarpanches must take reasonable steps to ensure that no COVID cases are reported in the villages. PPE kits and masks are kept ready for the plumbing workers in panchayats. The government will always stand by the plumbing workers who risk their lives while doing their duty amid the pandemic. The MPDOs must ensure that the green ambassadors do not incur any fees, ”said the minister.

Mr. Ramachandra Reddy emphasized the need for full sanitation in the villages.

“The solid and liquid waste should be sent to the respective treatment centers. The need for organic fertilizers can be met from these centers. The officials should make the population aware of full hygiene, maintenance of hygiene and the need to participate in the action, “said the minister.
