Narsapuram MP K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju was transferred from Guntur County Jail to the Secunderabad Army Hospital on Monday evening.
A Supreme Court division chief ordered Mr. Ramakrishna Raju to be transferred to the Army Hospital, where medical tests would be carried out according to the court’s instructions.
Mr. Raju was picked up in a private car with a police escort. He was taken out of the county jail in the middle of a heavy police bandobust.
Mr. Raju was transferred from Guntur Government Hospital to the county jail on Sunday evening.
