Minister promises timely medical assistance in the E. Godavari Agency

Backward classes Welfare Minister Chap. Venu Gopala Krishna pledged timely health care support at the East Godavari Agency on Wednesday to minimize death from COVID-19.

Accompanied by East Godavari collector D. Muralidhar Reddy, Mr. Gopala Krishna started the COVID vaccination campaign and reviewed the steps to ensure timely health care for those infected with COVID-19.

“East Godavari authorities are ready to provide any assistance that ITDA-Chintoor and Rampachodavaram authorities need in the event of a health emergency. A sufficient number of ambulances have been set up and connected to the hospitals in the agency. More ambulances will be made available as needed, ”Gopala Krishna said at a press conference.

The minister asked about the food being served to patients, how the COVID care centers work and the vaccination campaign at the Chintoor Agency.

“The government is on high alert to prevent further spread of COVID in the agency’s pockets. The municipal hospitals are equipped with the necessary facilities. However, those in need of emergency treatment will be transferred to Rajamahendravaram by the agency, ”added the minister.
