The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has announced the GV Merit Scholarship and Rajeswari Ammal Merit Scholarship for non-technical programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students at the university. VIT Chancellor G. Viswanathan announced that the scholarships are designed to support candidates enrolling for programs such as BBA, B. Com, Law, B.Sc., BA, and PG from the 2021-22 academic year.

VIT-AP Vice Chancellor SV Kota Reddy stated that the GV Merit Scholarship is for every CEO across the country. The admitted candidate would receive a 100% scholarship for all years of the UG program. Candidates must be a district topper from any state across the country to be eligible for the Rajeswari Ammal Merit Scholarship. Admitted candidates would receive a 50% scholarship on the tuition fee for all years of the course. If the district superior is a girl, she would receive an additional 25% scholarship.

Vice President VIT-AP Sekar Viswanathan said the PG Merit Scholarship would be awarded to all candidates who were inducted into PG programs, with a 100% scholarship to anyone who received a CGPA of 9.0 / 90% or greater (whichever is applicable). in the qualifying UG examination. A merit scholarship of 50% is awarded to the admitted candidates who have achieved a CGPA score of 8.0 / 80% or more (whichever is the case) in the qualified UG examination. In this category, an additional grant of 25% is awarded to female candidates.
