Naidu blamed AP people traveling to Delhi, Odisha, for “new curbs”

CCMB has already made it clear that the strain ‘N440K’ is neither deadly nor new: Sajjala

Public Affairs Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has beaten TDP National President N. Chandrababu Naidu for “spreading falsehood” on the new strain of COVID-19, N440K, which has imposed restrictions on the Delhi and Odisha governments have the people who travel from Andhra Pradesh.

Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy spoke to the media at party headquarters here on Friday, claiming that Mr. Naidu’s aim was to defame the government.

“Thanks to the malicious propaganda of Mr. Naidu, the Delhi and Odisha governments have placed new restrictions on people traveling from Andhra Padesh. People who visit this state now have to be in quarantine for 14 days, ”said Ramakrishna Reddy.

“Mr. Naidu lacks knowledge in science or medicine. The CCMB director has said that ‘N440K’ is not lethal and that it is not new as it has already been found in states like Kerala and Karnataka,” said Reddy.

“Cases should be submitted”

Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy accused Mr. Naidu of portraying the people of Andhra Pradesh as “super spreaders” and said that cases should be brought against the TDP president for spreading rumors.

“As the leader of the opposition, Mr. Naidu has to give advice to the government. But he has become used to criticizing whatever the government is doing. He lives in his luxury home in Telangana and tries to earn miles by politicizing sensitive issues, ”he said.

Regarding the steps the government was taking to control the spread of the virus, Mr Reddy said that not only did Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy take all measures and constantly review the situation, but also wrote letters to the Union government, to achieve an adequate supply of vaccine doses.

“Andhra Pradesh has delivered a record 6 lakh in a single dose and can continue if enough doses are delivered,” he said.
