Traders said they should social distance circles in stores

Vizianagaram Commissioner Prasada Rao on Thursday instructed all traders to keep customers in orderly queues and spaced apart from shops across the city.

Mr Prasada Rao instructed dealers to draw circles outside of their stores so customers can follow the social distancing protocol. He expressed concern about the apparent violation of COVID-19 safety norms such as social distancing and use of masks.

He said local authorities would impose COVID-19 protocol violations on marketplaces, Rythu bazaars and fruit markets.
