ACB officials take Dhulipalla Narendra into custody

Sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chairman and Sangam Dairy chairman Dhulipalla Narendra from Rajamahendravaram Central Prison on Saturday.

The ACB court on Friday gave investigators four days of custody of Narendra to question him on the case. The former MLA has reportedly been relocated to Vijayawada.

On April 23, the ACB arrested TDP leader, Sangam Dairy general manager P. Gopala Krishnan, and former district cooperative officer M. Gurunadham. Cases against them have been recorded in various sections, including the 1998 Corruption Prevention Act.

Previously, the High Court rejected the quash motion filed by the former MLA as well as the motion for bail filed by Mr. Narendra and Mr. Gopala Krishnan.
