Evangelist and Founding President of the Praja Shanti Party, KA Paul, said Wednesday that he had filed a public interest litigation (PIL) petition with the Andhra Pradesh Supreme Court asking the state government to suspend the class 10 and the intermediate exams to be canceled.
The evangelist urged Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to reconsider the government’s decision to continue the audit schedule. The life and future of the students was more important. The students would die of COVID if the court didn’t make a decision, he said.
He said he had petitioned the High Court against the sale of the Visakhapatnam steel mill to private companies. Mr Paul said he asked the government to use the buildings he owned to treat COVID patients. The evangelist said that he would provide 1,000 beds if necessary.
