HC reserves the right to order the Quash petition from Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar

Judge R. Raghunandan Rao of the Andhra Pradesh Supreme Court on Tuesday approved the order of the quash motion filed by former MLA and Sangam dairy chairman Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar and chief executive P. Gopala Krishnan against the quash motion filed by the special judge for ACB cases on Jan. . April.

Advocate General S. Sriram appeared for the state, while senior attorney B. Adinarayana Rao represented the petitioners.

Mr Narendra Kumar and Mr Gopala Krishnan were charged with various financial and administrative irregularities in the dairy which was established in 1973 and acquired by AP Dairy Development Corporation Limited three years later.

Subsequently, under certain conditions, the management of Sangam Dairy was transferred to the Guntur District Milk Producers Cooperative and transformed into the Guntur District Milk Producers Cooperative Association in accordance with the AP Cooperative Cooperatives Act of 1995.

Mr. Narendra Kumar and Mr. Gopala Krishnan appealed to the court to overturn the ACB judge’s order on the grounds that it violated the provisions of the 1988 Corruption Prevention Act and Section 167 of the 1973 Code of Criminal Procedure.
