Two tribesmen drowned when the boat they were traveling in reportedly capsized on Saturday in Matsyagedda, Panasa village, Vanugumma panchayat, owned by the Visakhapatnam Agency.
The deceased were identified as B. Dasu, 28, and N. Somu, 40, both from Panasa village.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred while driving from Panasa towards a village in Odisha. The bodies were tracked down by the swimmers and sent for an autopsy. The police have registered a case and an investigation is ongoing.
