State to vaccinate people between the ages of 18 and 45 for free

Night closure between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.; All exams take place according to the schedule: CM

Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced here on Friday that all citizens between the ages of 18 and 45 would be vaccinated free of charge.

This was one of the key decisions made during a comprehensive meeting of the Chief Minister on COVID-19 vaccination. Another important decision was to impose a night lock in the state between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy also directed officials to decentralize markets as they did during the first wave in 2020.

The Chief Minister also made it clear that the SSC, Intermediate, Degree and Engineering exams would be held on schedule.

“Make sure the essential drugs are not sold on the black market. Also, be sure to closely monitor the supply of remdesivir and develop an SOP for the distribution of vital injections. If you find some kind of racket, go really tough on it. Also, increase the number of tests and take tough measures against hospitals that charge excessive fees for treating COVID-19 patients, ”said Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The Prime Minister also urged the officials to ensure that service “104” is working properly. He also urged officials to increase the number of transport vehicles bringing oxygen and said the hospitals used 284 tons of oxygen every day. 208 COVID hospitals had 21,581 beds available, of which 11,789 were occupied, he added.

Health Minister Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas, Ministers Botcha Satyanarayana and M. Sucharitha, DGP Gautam Sawang, Special CS (Health) Anil Kumar Singhal, Secretary (Transport) MT Krishna Babu, Secretary (School Education) B. Rajasekhar and Health Commissioner K. Bhaskar were present.
