Sri Krishnadevaraya University will personally present 617 PhD and PhD certificates to students during its 19th convention, held here on campus on Saturday.
University Minister Adimalapu Suresh and AP State Council of Higher Education Chairman K. Hemachandra Reddy will attend the event.
University Vice Chancellor M. Ramakrishna Reddy said at a news conference here Thursday that another 15,682 students would receive their absentee degrees and 11,402 upfront degrees.
Parents / relatives of students were not allowed to attend the event, which was held in strict compliance with the COVID-19 protocol.
Chancellor and Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan will attend the meeting virtually.
Reddy said 115 students would receive gold medals and 54 commemorative and university special awards in addition to six university cash awards.
A new composite wall was built for the campus together with a pharmacy center and a hall for 1 crore. An indoor stadium would be built at a cost of £ 4 crore.
