Kalyanam performed in the Ramateertham Temple

The Sita-Rama Kalyanam was performed in the traditional way on Wednesday in the Ramateertham Temple, 12 km from Vizianagaram, as part of the Sri Rama Navami.

Vizianagaram MP Bellana Chandrasekhar and former MP Botcha Jhansi offered pattu vastrams and pearls to the temple on behalf of the state government.

In 2014, the government selected Vontimitta and Ramateertham temples as the venue for Sri Rama Navami’s official celebrations.

The chief priest of the Ramateertham Temple, Sairam Acharyulu, the priests Stanacharyulu, Narasimhacharyulu and others performed the Kalyanam rituals on the Abhijit Lagnam in the presence of VIPs, officials and some local supporters.

City Minister Botcha Satyanarayana and his wife Botcha Jhansi had donated £ 14.5 to make the Lord’s vehicles such as Garuda Vahanam, Ashwa Vahanam and Hamsa Vahanam.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh’s Postmaster General Mutyala Venkateswarulu posted £ 25 postal coverage at the Rama Narayanam Temple at the Y Junction in Vizianagaram.

Narayanam Srinivas, a member of the Narayanam Charitable Trust, thanked the Postal Department for extending the honor to the temple. Many devotees crowded into the temple where the Sita-Rama Kalyanam was performed in the traditional way.
