YSRCP managed to manipulate Tirupati’s election: Veerraju

BJP President Somu Veerraju demanded on Sunday that Saturday’s by-election for the Tirupati Lok Sabha constituency be canceled and that a large-scale repetition, which was held as sham votes, be cast.

Addressing the media, Mr Veerraju alleged that YSRCP ministers and leaders had broken the code of conduct right in front of the Indian Electoral Commission (ECI) officials and security forces.

Mr Veerraju also claimed that the police remained silent because of the “massive irregularities” and that the CRPF staff were not seen nearby.

Mr Veerraju went on to claim that the voters were threatened by the volunteers and that the party agents were silenced in various ways by the ruling party leaders.

“Several ministers, MLAs, and company leaders camped in Temple City to rig the elections, and they largely succeeded because the police remained silent. Election observer Dinesh Patel didn’t seem to have bothered too much either, ”claimed Veerraju.

Minister P. Ramachandra Reddy spoke to the media during the election, the BJP chairman claimed.

Mr Ramachandra Reddy’s claim that the false voters, first exposed by the BJP and later by the TDP, were on a pilgrimage to the residence of Lord Venkateswara, turned out to be a lie, as the “Sarva Darshan” by the TTD Had been suspended a few days ago said Mr Veerraju.

The BJP leader claimed that the borders of the Tirupati constituency had not been sealed and those who dared to question the irregularities were implicated in false cases.

The BJP has filed complaints in all segments of the assembly in the constituency and will bring the ECI to the attention of the irregularities, he said.
