Student safety is paramount, says Minister

Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh said Friday parents needn’t panic over their children’s exams.

In a statement, the minister said the government is constantly monitoring the situation. Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy asked the Education Department to make student safety a top priority.

He noted that the schedules for grade 10 exams (SSC) and the Intermediate Board had already been released and said that a detailed plan of action was in place to ensure that the exams were conducted safely. However, depending on the COVID situation in the coming days, a final decision will be made. He affirmed and affirmed that the safety and health of the students was of the utmost importance to them.
