VIT-AP University has signed a MoU with AKS IAS Academy to help students interested in passing public service exams prepare well and keep them public service by the time they graduate and prepare other related positions. The agreement was signed on Thursday at the University’s administrative office in Hyderabad.
University Vice Chancellor SV Kota Reddy said the collaboration will benefit students looking for a career-based graduation program. “In addition to a dual BA and MA degree in public services, students would now also be trained in IAS preparation,” he said.
Shashank, CEO of the AKS IAS Academy, said the academy was founded with a vision to create a benchmark institution to excel in one of the toughest exams in the country, the Public Service Exam.
Working together would help prospective students start early. “The strong academic base of the VIT-AP, supplemented by the guidelines of the AKS Academy for this innovative dual BA and MA degree in Public Services plus IAS, would guarantee the aspirants an enriching and fruitful learning experience,” he said.
The University Chancellor CLV Sivakumar, Dean Incharge, the VIT-AP School for Social Sciences and Humanities Susmitha Shyamsundar and the Director of the AKS IAS Academy, Sudha, were present.
