Naidu enjoys ‘Ugadi Pachadi’, Lokesh watches the crescent moon

Just as the national president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Nara Chandrababu Naidu, was celebrating Telugu’s New Year’s Day on Tuesday in the midst of leaders and activists at the local party office Ugadi, his son and TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh watched the crescent moon with members of the Muslim community marking the beginning of the holy month of Ramzan.

Mr. Naidu enjoyed ‘Ugadi Pachadi’ and offered a range of gifts to the congregation’s relevant constituency and former MLA M. Sugunamma and other leaders. He said the coming year would be a good sign for the state and the people at large.

Meanwhile, Mr. Lokesh said the practice of quick observation would enable one to understand the plight of the poor and needy. He said the TDP is the only party that does justice to Muslims.
