KR Mohana Rao, Chairman of the Visakhapatnam Port Trust, called Vice Admiral Ajendra Bahadur Singh, Commander in Chief of the Eastern Naval Command (ENC) here at the command headquarters on Friday.
The Chairman briefed the Vice Admiral on the performance of the Port of Vizag and ongoing development projects.
Various issues of mutual interest between the Indian Navy and VPT were discussed. The Indian Navy and the VPT have a common history and have lived together in Visakhapatnam since the 1930s.
