The 10th NDRF battalion celebrates Valor Day

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) officers and staff observed Valor Day Friday to mark the brave act of CRPF personnel fighting valiantly with an infantry brigade of the Pakistani Army as they passed the Indian border posts at Sardar and Tak attacked the Indian-Pakistani border conflict on April 9, 1965.

Commander Zahid Khan spoke to the force about the bravery of the CRPF personnel. The officers and Kiefer made a promise on this occasion. On this occasion a cricket match was organized and the officers of the unit were awarded gallantry medals.

Officers from the 10th NDRF Battalion and the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) conducted a joint inspection of the battalion’s new base camp in the village of Kondapavuluru, Krishna district on Friday.

Deputy NDRF Commander Zarful Islam

said a joint report would be sent to NDRF headquarters for approval. A helipad, school, officers club and other facilities would be built on the new campus, he said.
