Anti-trafficking manuals published

Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan published a series of five anti-trafficking handbooks published by an NGO, Prajwala, here in the Raj Bhavan on Thursday.

On that occasion, Harichandan said that the threat of human trafficking should be addressed with a victim-centered approach.

He said the handbooks will be useful as a useful tool for preventing and combating trafficking in human beings, including law enforcement officers, law enforcement officers, child welfare committees, officials from the Department of Labor and civil society organizations in the state, the manuals will be helpful to public officials and stakeholders.

Mr. Harichandan recognized the efforts of Ms. Sunitha Krishnan and her team in Prajwala for their pioneering work in the field of combating human trafficking and related crime under the theme of “prevention, protection, rescue, rehabilitation and reintegration”. Governor’s Secretary Mukesh Kumar Meena and others were present.
