Tollywood actors K. Chiranjeevi and A. Nagarjuna thanked Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Twitter for helping the film industry overcome the hurdles created by the coronavirus pandemic.

With this in mind, Mr. Nagarjuna thanked Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy for the much-needed relief to the film industry.
“I thank the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, for the much-needed relief efforts for the film industry in these dark ages of Covid,” Nagarjuna wrote on Twitter.
The state government has ordered aid measures to be extended to the film industry and its stakeholders so that the industry can resume business operations.
The government has announced that all theaters, including multiplexes, will waive fixed electricity charges for April, May and June 2020 and defer payment of fixed electricity charges for six months – from July 2020 to December 2020.
In addition, the government will grant an interest subsidy of 50% with a maximum limit of 4.5% per annum for loans used by cinemas (excluding multiplexes) operated by banks.
