JSP convicts YSRCP of defaming Pawan Kalyan

The Jana Sena Party (JSP) fought on Monday against the leaders of the YSR Congress Party, including ministers, for allegedly making disrespectful statements against party founder Pawan Kalyan.

“The ministers in the state cabinet behave like thugs and hooligans, with no trace of the decency required by their posts,” said Pasupuleti Hariprasad, a member of the JSP’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC), at a press conference in Tirupati.

He objected to statements made by the Minister of Civil Services Kodali Nani against Mr. Kalyan. “Even those who run amusement clubs make insensitive remarks about our guide, who is known for his integrity as an individual. The Jana Sainiks (the party’s foot soldiers) will not take it lightly if the YSRCP continues to spew poison on our leader, ”warned Dr. Hariprasad, an orthopedic surgeon.

The party also made an exception to the manner in which the chief priest of the Tirumala Temple, AV Ramana Deekshitulu, allegedly sought support for the YSRCP. “It is bad for the high priest to behave like a person wearing the flag of the YSRC party,” said the constituency responsible for Tirupati, K. Kiran Rayal.

In Kadapa, JSP City President M. Siva has battered the YSRCP, claiming the party has turned Pulivendula into a center of violence. “While our leader Pawan Kalyan referred to Pulivendula as ‘Saraswathi Nilayam’ (Land of the Enlightened), some have turned it into a hotbed of factional violence in recent years,” he said.
