CM, who is afraid of Modi and Amit Shah, claims Undavalli

Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar said Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is afraid of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Interior Minister Amit Shah.

At a meeting on the privatization of the Visakhapatnam Steel Mill, organized by the Writer’s Academy in the public library here on Sunday, Mr. Arun Kumar wondered why the Prime Minister did not start the Visakhapatnam Steel Mill Center (VSP) Problem when the people of the YSR Congress Party gave 151 seats in the congregation. This is not to be expected from the son of former Prime Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, said Arun Kumar. The former MP asked Mr. Jagan to make it clear whether he would stand by the people or sail with Mr. Modi and Mr. Shah.

Mr Arun Kumar called for a debate on the VSP issue to be held in Parliament and for protests against the privatization of the VSP to be organized by supporting all MPs who are ready to support the cause. He also wondered why opposition leader and former Prime Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu did not speak against the Union government. The common people believed that the prime minister would act against the center to save the VSP, he said. The center has already made it clear to VSP that it will either sell the facility or shut it down, said Arun Kumar.

He wondered if capitalism meant handing over the steel mill to Ambani and Adani. He demanded that all state MPs refuse to sell the VSP. A declaration should be made to the VSP and sent to the Prime Minister.

The Chairman of the Writer’s Academy, VV Ramana Murthy, presided.
