TDP questions Jagan’s silence on the Viveka murder

TDP General Secretary and Politburo member Varla Ramaiah said on Saturday that Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had not responded to the request of Sunitha, daughter of his uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy, to delay the investigation into the murder of her father Not.

Speaking at a press conference, Mr Ramaiah said Ms. Sunitha had a press conference in Delhi questioning the delay in bringing those responsible for her father’s murder to justice, but Mr Jagan did not speak about it here in the state.

The TDP leader claimed he would overthrow the Jagan government in the state if he called the “Palace Secret of Pulivendula” on March 15, 2019. He said Ms. Sunitha’s questions were clearly directed at the chief minister. He claimed that Mr. Jagan knew everything.

Boycott the polls

Mr Ramaiah alleged that the ruling party leaders, in agreement with the police, had resorted to indiscriminate election fraud. “What is the purpose of participating in such a farce?” he asked. He said that both the media and the people of this state know that the leaders of the ruling party used pressure tactics to prevail in the elections. The opposition party leaders were not allowed to submit nominations, they were threatened and attacked, he claimed. Mr. Ramaiah pointed to the high number of “unanimous elections” and claimed that they were all enforced. He said the YSR Congress Party had used brute force to reduce the electoral process to mere farce and the TDP did not want to be part of it.
