The BJP-JSP Combine has called on the municipalities of Kapu, Balija, Telaga and Ontari, which have been brought together under the hood of Kapu, to extend their support for their candidate K. Ratna Prabha in the subsequent election to the constituency of Tirupati Lok Sabha.
At a meeting of the ‘Kapu Sankshema Sena’ here on Friday, Sunil Deodhar, BJP State President Somu Veerraju and JSP Chairman Fr. Hariprasad recalled the recent spate of attacks on parishioners and stressed the need to face the onslaught of attackers who, they claimed, owed their allegiance to the ruling party.
Mr. Somu Veerraju appealed to the community to accept this as a challenge to ensure the victory of the BJP-JSP Combine.
When the community leader sought the BJP-JSP Combine stand on BC status to Kapus, which the YSRCP government had passed on to the center, the BJP offered support for the cause if the community JSP President Pawan Kalyan as Chief Minister supported.
JSP honorary president I. Surya Rao, Rayalaseema officer Chandu Srinivas, vice president M. Tirumala Rao and youth wing president Arcot Krishna Prasad attended the meeting.
