Divi’s Laboratories donated 100 pounds sterling worth of oxygen concentrators on Wednesday in response to a call from district authorities for donations from industry and public sector units to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
At a meeting with the East Godavari collector D. Muralidhar Reddy here, the administrative director of Divi Laboratories (Ontimaamidi-East Godavari), R. Sudhakar, handed over the oxygen concentrators and promised the district authorities further support.
Mr Muralidhar said the oxygen concentrators would be sent to the COVID care centers in Bodasakkurru, Rajamahendravaram Rural and JNTU-Kakinada, where COVID-19 patients will be housed before they are taken to hospital for emergency treatment.
