Women’s watch robbed of jewelry, cash on the train

In a daylight robbery, a villain attacked a guard on a freight train traveling from Vijayawada to Bitragunta, allegedly firing her of gold jewelry and cash. The incident occurred near the Tadepalli train station in the Guntur district. The guard, G. Grace, filed a complaint with the State Railway Police (GFK) in Guntur.

The defendant allegedly threatened her with a blade, tied her hands in the brake truck and committed the crime on March 28, the victim said in her complaint. The defendant entered the guard cabin through the emergency window when the freight train stopped at Tadepalli station around noon.

He allegedly gagged her, handcuffed her hands with the dupatta, and took her stud earrings, gold chain and £ 3,000 cash, police said. The police registered one case and started an investigation.

South Central Railway (SCR) officials ordered the department to investigate the robbery. They increased the patrol at the Tadepalli and Krishna Canal Junction stations.
