East Godavari Joint Collector (Revenue) G. Lakshmisha said Saturday that construction of 40,000 homes in the revenue departments of Amalapuram and Ramachadrapuram would begin in the first week of July.
On Saturday, Mr. Lakshmisha inspected the availability of materials – cement, iron and sand – for the construction works planned in the rural mandal of Amalapuram.
“The construction of 40,000 homes is expected to be completed within two months on the plans in which beneficiaries were granted home plots under the Pedalandariki Illu program,” said Mr. Lakshmisha.
